Former U.S. ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, condemned Joe Biden’s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal as a “complete and total surrender and an embarrassing failure.” During an interview on Sunday, Haley called out the Biden administration for not ensuring all Americans and Afghan allies were evacuated before pulling most troops out.

She also noted the U.S. abandoned billions of dollars worth of military equipment, which has now fallen into the hands of the Taliban. The Trump-era official urged Biden to extend the current deadline to end the U.S. military operations in the country.

“We’ve got to get our Americans out. We’ve got to stay true to those Afghan allies that we made promises to, and we’ve got to make sure we do this in a very strong way going forward,” stressed Haley.

Haley also asserted 45th President Trump would have never allowed the Taliban to takeover Afghanistan without conditions.
