CNN’s Jake Tapper has taken heat from the left for condemning Joe Biden’s tone during his vaccine mandate address. During an appearance on Friday, Tapper made comments not commonly heard on the network.

Tapper criticized Biden’s decision to scold unvaccinated Americans instead of the people convincing them to not get vaccinated. He also pointed out there were legitimate questions surrounds Biden’s rules.

Tapper started trending on Twitter and was scolded by many critics on the left.

“I don’t think scolding is the approach. There are these purveyors of misinformation out there and they’re not just on the right. Robert Kennedy Jr. is one of the most notorious ones,” he expressed. “He’s scolding the people that are being lied to as opposed to the liars.”

Biden himself has been drawing criticism for his comments after making comments such as “if you break the rules, be prepared to pay” as well as his “patience is wearing thin.”
