Six people injured in a shooting at a Tennessee grocery store are no longer in critical condition. A spokeswoman for the hospital where the victims are being treated gave the update Sunday.
The official said five of the individuals are in good condition and one is in serious condition, but is improving. The victims were wounded when a gunman opened fire last week at a Kroger grocery store east of Memphis, in turn, killing one woman before turning the gun on himself.
Authorities offered prayers and condolences to all the victims as well as their families following the shooting.
“My thoughts and prayers, and I hope yours are too, are going to be with the victims, everybody that’s impacted,” said Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane. “A lot of people were impacted by this.”
