Joe Biden will head to Michigan this week to push his jeopardized Build Back Better agenda. In a press release on Sunday, the White House announced he will speak to constituents at an operating engineers facility in Howell Township on Tuesday. Biden will discuss his multi-trillion dollar spending plans, which the White House said will be funded by “repealing tax giveaways to the rich.”

His reconciliation and bipartisan bills hit a speed bump last week when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) delayed the vote. Biden has made it clear he will do whatever it takes to get the bills pushed through.
Meanwhile, a new poll found nearly three-quarters of American voters oppose Biden’s $3.5 trillion budget. That’s according to a Convention of States Action survey in partnership with the Trafalgar Group.
Released Monday, the poll specifically shows 72 percent of Americans say they are less likely to support Biden’s proposed reconciliation bill if they know it increases taxes and the national debt. That includes 74 percent of independents and 50 percent of Democrats.
