The highly anticipated “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast with guest Jordan Peterson, a popular Canadian psychologist, finally dropped Tuesday afternoon — and it’s a lengthy 4.5 hours long.

Peterson on Monday teased the podcast episode via social media. “Four and a half freaking hours,” he wrote, captioning a photo of the pair and a picture of the podcast logo.

“We talked about laughter, comedy, listening, play and camaraderie,” Peterson said in reply tweets to the post. “We talked about Richard Dawkins and visionary experience.”

“We talked about the degenerating legacy media landscape and the power of truth [CNN],” the former popular author added. “We talked about shamanism, music, psychedelics and the cosmic tree.”

The podcast is wide-ranging, opening on a discussion about climate change, and Peterson’s reservations about the science behind the movement. The duo also touch on socialism vs. capitalism, human predispositions, Peterson’s health, gender, and yes, psychedelics, as well as numerous other topics.

Despite relentless attacks on Rogan by legacy media, Peterson praised Rogan’s huge success as a consequence of the host’s truthfulness, as well as other admirable qualities.

“That’s because he doesn’t lie,” Peterson said via social media, explaining Rogan’s success. “Or talk down to his audience. Or manipulate for his own narrow advantage. Go [Joe Rogan]. See you in three weeks in Austin.”

As noted by The Daily Wire, “The comment came in response to a report that revealed Rogan’s audience exceeded the traffic of leading news shows, including top programs broadcast on Fox News and CNN, during the third quarter of 2021, according to average viewers per show based on Nielsen and Spotify statistics.”

Rogan has seen an increase in attacks from folks on the Left, largely due to the host’s decision to have on guests the mainstream have shunned, for a host of reasons.

Recently, YouTube removed an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” with guest Dr. Robert Malone. “The episode discussed Malone’s vaccine concerns and views regarding COVID-19 communications in the media that he considered disturbing from his viewpoint as a scientist,” The Daily Wire highlighted.

“This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines,” a message reads where the episode was previously posted.

Around the same time Rogan was being targeted with increasing censorship efforts, the host announced his move to join Twitter alternative GETTR.

“Join me on GETTR,” Rogan tweeted out to his millions of followers.

On GETTR, the host suggested his move to newer website was predicated by recent censorship from Twitter. “Just in case s*** over at Twitter gets even dumber, I’m here now as well. Rejoice!” he wrote.

The Rogan/Peterson episode is available on Spotify.
