A New York City actress lost her job after publicly complaining about street closures during the funeral of fallen officer Jason Rivera, New York Post reported. The video of Jacqueline Guzman’s rant went viral before she deleted it following an avalanche of backlash.

“We do not need to shut down most of Lower Manhattan because one cop died for probably doing his job incorrectly. They kill people who are under 22 every single day for no good reason and we don’t shut down the city for them,” the actress said on the TikTok clip, which was posted under the name @vinylboobs.

Guzman can be seen walking down an empty street as she speaks.

She continued, saying: “Like this is f***ing ridiculous. This is f***ing ridiculous. What if somebody is having a heart attack in this area. Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one f***ing cop.”

Viewers were quick to denounce the video. PBA President Patrick Lynch said, “New Yorkers turned out by the thousands yesterday to help us honor our fallen brother. One person spreading hate cannot erase that. This kind of garbage has polluted the conversation for far too long. We need the New Yorkers who are standing with us to speak up and push back.”

Guzman’s former employer, Face to Face Films, reacted by relieving the actress of her employment.

“Face to Face Films has just been made aware of an insensitive video involving one of our members, Jacqueline Guzman. Face to Face Films does not support nor can condone these comments made about fallen Officer Rivera. As a result, she is no longer a member of our company,” the business said in a statement on their Facebook page.

The 22-year-old rookie died after being ambushed during a routine call in Harlem. His wife of only a few months, Dominique Luzuriaga, is also going viral for a video of her moving eulogy during the service at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The widow put most of the blame on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and his controversial prosecution guidelines, which many believe have been too lenient on crime and have allowed dangerous criminals to roam the streets.

“You have the whole nation on gridlock. And although you won’t be here anymore, I want you to live through me,” the bereaved widow said in part during her speech.

“The system continues to fail us. We are not safe anymore, not even the members of the service [NYPD]. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA. I hope he is watching you speak through me,” she continued to loud applause.

“I’m sure all of our blue family is tired, too. But I promise, we promise, that your death won’t be in vain. I love you to the end of time. We’ll take the watch from here,” she concluded.

Thousands of officers showed up for the funeral services on Friday, which resulted in the street closures Guzman was so annoyed by.
