Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) accused leftists of showing a double standard with regard to threats of violence toward members of the FBI.
The Florida Republican condemned threats of violence against any members of the bureau, saying that those who threatened “violence over the Mar-A- Lago raid should be arrested.”
“But where was the outrage & condemnation from the left & many in the media when the threats were against Supreme Court justices over the abortion ruling?” Rubio asked.
The senator was referring to the repeated threats of violence against the Supreme Court justices, accompanied by protesting outside the justices’ homes and acts of vandalism against pro-life centers and churches.
These escalated into one man crossing the country and allegedly attempting to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Twenty-six-year-old Nicholas Roske, who has been charged with attempted murder, ultimately turned himself in to authorities, telling them that he was motivated to attempt to kill Kavanaugh by the leak of a draft decision overturning Roe v. Wade.
The incident dominated national news and prompted sharp calls to action from conservative lawmakers, but the close call apparently did not convince authorities to crack down on the protesting outside the justices’ homes.
On Monday, Rubio also criticized the FBI for the bureau’s handling of the attacks on churches and pro-life groups (at least 66 Catholic churches and 63 pro-life groups and pregnancy centers, according to CatholicVote trackers).
“The FBI isn’t doing anything about the groups vandalizing Catholic Churches, firebombing Pro-Life groups or threatening Supreme Court justices,” he said in a tweet. “But they find time to raid Mar A Lago.”

The FBI previously told The Daily Wire that while it would not comment on specific groups, the bureau is “investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country.”
On Wednesday, the bureau added, “The incidents are being investigated as potential acts of domestic violent extremism, FACE Act violations, or violent crime matters, depending on the facts of each case.”
