Vice President Kamala Harris has come under fire from Fox News for her silence on the allegations of sexual harassment against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo that recently emerged.

Fox News notes that Harris was a vocal supporter of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford after she accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, and said during the 2020 campaign that she believed the allegations of inappropriate behavior made against President Joe Biden.

“I believe them, and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” Harris said, referring to the women who had accused Biden.

Other prominent Democrats, including former Secretary of State and 2016 Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., have addressed the allegations against Cuomo.

Clinton, a former senator from New York, said in a statement on Monday: “These stories are difficult to read, and the allegations brought forth raise serious questions that the women who have come forward and all New Yorkers deserve answers to.”

Pelosi said on Sunday that the claims are “serious and credible,” and added that “The women who have come forward with serious and credible charges against Governor Cuomo deserve to be heard and to be treated with dignity.”
