Eight men have been arrested after being accused of running a drug ring in New York. On Monday, the men were arrested at Times Square by Manhattan South Narcotics detectives and Homeland Security.
According to the indictment, undercover law enforcement bought drugs from the individuals on numerous occasions, additionally surveilling them from morning to night.
“This crew gave new meaning to the slogan for New York City as the ‘city that never sleeps,’” said Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Peter C.

Officials said the individuals ran a 24-hour crack cocaine market for over a year before they were shut down. Reports said they generated more than $10,000 a week.
The suspects now face a minimum sentence of 10 years in jail.
