Video clips of acting couple Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have resurfaced online since Will infamously slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Academy Awards over a mild joke about Jada.

In one clip, Jada films a frustrated Will for her Instagram account, prompting heated online commentary condemning Jada. In another resurfaced clip, the actress says in front of her daughter Willow on her Facebook show “Red Table Talk” that she “never” wanted to be married and “cried” while she was walking down the aisle to be married to Will.

“I would say don’t just start filming me without asking me if you could film me,” Will says to Jada in the resurfaced Instagram clip, after Jada seems to catch her husband off-guard with the video.

“I’m still dealing with foolishness,” Jada says into the camera, complaining about Will.

Will responds, “My social media presence is my bread and butter, so you can’t just use me for social media. … Don’t just start [rolling].”

The video has a stunning 10.8 million views.

Some online reacted bitterly toward Jada. “This is worse than [the movie] Get Out,” Fleccas commented.

“Blink twice if you’re in danger, Will,” Gina Bontempo captioned the video.

“Like I’ve been saying, the woman is absolutely awful and easily the biggest villain in this whole thing,” Daily Wire podcast host and author Matt Walsh remarked.

The New York Post and other outlets this weekend focused on Jada saying in 2018 that she “never” wanted to be married, and only did so to Will because she was pregnant and felt pressured. Notably, Jada made the comments on her show “Red Table Talk” in front of her daughter Willow, who is also a co-host. Will was at the table, too.

“I was under so much pressure, you know, being a young actress, being young, and I was just, like, pregnant and I just didn’t know what to do,” Jada said, the Post reported. “I never wanted to be married.”

“I really didn’t wanna get married,” she continued. “We only got married because Gammy was crying.”

“It was almost as if Gammy was like, ‘You have to get married, so let’s talk about the wedding,’” the actress said, adding, “I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle. I cried the whole way down the aisle.”

The couple are known for talking openly about their marital problems and their apparent open relationship. In 2020, the duo even publicly discussed Jada’s affair with young singer August Alsina, the The Daily Wire reported:

According to the duo, they were going through a rough time and split up “amicably,” though still legally married. Pinkett Smith started a friendship with Alsina that turned into an “entanglement,” which the actress later classified as a “relationship” when pressed by Smith.

The “Bad Boys” actor was in the know about the affair, the couple discussed. “There’s never been secrets,” Pinkett Smith said.

However, Smith did not give “permission,” since, argued Pinkett Smith, “the only person who could give permission in this particular circumstance was myself.” Smith agreed.

Smith was visibly uncomfortable during portions of the “Red Table Talk” discussion, at one point comparing himself to a politician’s wife at a presser as the husband discloses his “transgressions,” a term Jada objected to.

“I’m gonna get you back,” Smith joked during one awkward exchange.

“I think you’ve already done that,” Pinkett Smith said.
