Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo spoke out about the latest information regarding her husband’s death and that he was reportedly not feeling good the night before he died, according to audio released from a crew member.

“The records released tell the entire story — that is, Bob passed away after a fall and hitting his head in his hotel room,” the Saget family’s attorney, Brian H. Bieber, shared in a statement on behalf of Rizzo, reported Page Six in a piece published Thursday.

“Now that the medical examiner’s and police department’s records have been released after their respective thorough investigations, the Saget family would appreciate privacy to mourn in peace,” the statement to the outlet added.

In an audio clip from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, showrunner Rosalie Cocci tells authorities that the “Full House” star claimed his hearing was “off” and he was dealing with a “sore throat” before he took the stage at the concert hall where she works in Orlando on January 8, reported TMZ. It was the day before news surfaced that he was found dead in his hotel room. Cocci also said Saget was suffering from “long-term COVID” following the official autopsy report that determined he had died from blunt head trauma, reported previously by the outlet.

As previously reported by The Daily Wire:

Last week, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office released new details in a report about Saget’s death. The report delineated the conclusions Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany’s, M.D., autopsy of Saget.

“[Stephany] explained that the amount of force necessary to cause the fracture, coupled with the fact that the skin on the back of the head was still intact, led him to believe that the injury was most likely caused by ‘something hard, covered by something soft,’ and he gave, as an example, a fall onto a carpeted floor,” the report stated. “The headboard of the bed was lightly padded and set slightly out from the wall. These are listed here as possible mechanisms of injury, but nothing was located in the room that allows for a definitive conclusion.”

Fox 35 Orlando reported, “Officials say they went back to the hotel room where Saget was staying at the time of his death to reexamine it, trying to find clues as to what he may have hit his head on. The report states that they ruled out countertops, nightstands, tables and other hard furniture because they all had sharp, defined edges that did not match his injuries. They did note, however, that the entire room was carpeted.”

Earlier this month, Rizzo posted a message on her Instagram remembering her husband and sharing how much she missed him.

“2 whole months,” Saget’s widow captioned her post. “I’ve experienced that now time means nothing and everything at the same time. You count the weeks, and the months, they’re strange and surreal milestones. How can it be 2 months without you??”

“But also it feels like yesterday you were here- and it still also feels like you never left?” she added. “I like to say it’s all a very weird new universe. Learning how to navigate it is quite the journey.”

The two tied the knot in 2019 after dating for three years, reported CNN.
