Britney Spears reportedly deleted her Instagram following a few eyebrow-raising posts lately: one about wanting “to be feared” and another accusing her father of “stripping” part of her “womanhood” following the end of her 13-year conservatorship.
The 40-year-old pop singer’s account no longer existed Wednesday when fans clicked on her social media page. A message on the screen currently reads, “Sorry this page isn’t available.” Meta confirmed it didn’t delete the superstar’s account, reported Fox News in a piece published Thursday.
The last noted post the “Womanizer” hitmaker made included a statement she had made about not wanting to be loved and instead wanting to be feared, reported Page Six.

The “Gimme More” hitmaker’s post referenced a trip she said she took to Las Vegas recently, following the cancellation of her Vegas residency in 2019, and said that the stark comparison gave her a “whole new perspective on what it means to live.”
“The only thing I’ve known when I used to go to Vegas was a hour long meet and greets with 40 people every night getting the worst pics of me and then a two hour show!” Spears captioned her post. “Let’s just say this time visiting it gave me a whole new perspective on what it means to live! Being able to go to the spa was a highlight as well and you know what? Don’t ever pity me like my masseuse does.”
“People do love you!” the post added. “Huh? Huh? I don’t want to be loved. I want to be feared! Being loved and being nice got me taken advantage of so take [your] pity and go f*** yourselves!”
On Monday, the “Toxic” hitmaker made a lengthy post about looking back at those early days of motherhood with the two teenage boys she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline. She then began talking about the start of her conservatorship and the day she said her dad, Jamie Spears, told her he “called the shots from now on” — and she said ever since that day, she felt that a “huge part” of her “womanhood” had been “stripped” from her.
In November, a judge finally ruled in the superstar singer’s favor, terminating the conservatorship — controlled by her father, Jamie — that she had been under since 2008.
Shortly after the news came out that she was free, she posted a thank you to all those fans who were part of the #FreeBritney movement and said she was living on cloud nine now that it was over.
