Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan got everyone’s attention Thursday when they made a joint announcement that they were headed back to TV after being ousted from their respective talk shows last year.

“So, what I’m really looking for in my co-workers at Talk TV is somebody who is, well, a bit like me,” Morgan explained in a video posted on Twitter by his new show “The Talk UK.”

“Very opinionated, fearless, funny, knows their own mind, not afraid to speak it, unpredictable, maybe a little bit dangerous,” he added. “But also somebody who every time they open their gobby little mouth, it makes global news.”

It is then that the former co-host of CBS’ “The Talk” appeared on screen and made it clear she’d be joining him back on air.

“Um, where do I sign, Piers?” Osbourne asked with a big grin.

The tweet from the new show read, “Things are set to get even more opinionated on Talk TV…@piersmorgan
| @MrsSOsbourne| #TheTalk.”

News about Osbourne’s return comes a year after she was ousted from the daytime talk show on CBS following a heated exchange on the air with her former co-host Sheryl Underwood over her support for her pal Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle after the Duchess of Sussex’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, reported Variety.

“I feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend who many people think is racist, so that makes me a racist,” Osbourne shared during the show at the time, as previously reported. “I will ask you again Sheryl … and don’t try and cry because if anyone should be crying, it should be me. This is the situation, you tell me where you have heard him say racist things. Educate me.”

“It’s not the exact words of racism,” Underwood replied. “It’s the implication and the reaction to it. To not want to address that because [Markle] is a black woman and to try to dismiss it, or to make it seem like less than what it is, that’s what makes it racist.”

“The Talk” ended up taking a hiatus from the air. Osbourne apologized, but news eventually surfaced that she wouldn’t be returning to the show.

Morgan faced a backlash last year after he said on his former show “Good Morning Britain” that he “didn’t believe a word” of the duchess’ interview that she and Prince Harry gave to Winfrey, which included accusations of racism against the royal family.

He later said that he lost his “job at Good Morning Britain because” he “chose not to [apologize] for disbelieving Meghan Markle’s claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey,” he said in a post he made on Instagram.
