PBS is promoting its White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor to moderate the current events show “Washington Week” despite her track record of being a Democrat mouthpiece willing to advance leftist and even untrue narratives through her work.
“Introducing the new moderator of Washington Week: Yamiche Alcindor. Join @Yamiche for trusted news and analysis with Washington’s best reporters starting this Friday at 8/7c on @PBS. #WashWeekPBS,” the network announced on Twitter.

Alcindor’s partisanship is not subtle. During President Joe Biden’s first press conference, the “reporter” asked the Democrat if migrants are crossing the border because they view him as “moral” and “decent.” Alcindor’s continued praises for Biden were a drastic shift away from her extremely combative attitude towards former President Donald Trump.
Like many other journalists in the corporate media world, Alcindor’s partisan antics were celebrated and often egged on by the corporate media despite her willingness to overlook facts and purposefully misquote politicians she disliked. Her ability to latch onto fake news such as the Jussie Smollett hoax and lend a listening, even compassionate ear to Democrats presidential candidates such as now-Vice President Kamala Harris.
Alcindor’s commitment to advancing a more than left-leaning political agenda, however, hasn’t stopped the corrupt corporate media from hiring her. As a matter of fact, Alcindor did time at outlets such as the New York Times and USA Today that tend to welcome it. She also continues to participate in interviews and commentary at NBC News and MSNBC, both corporate news companies that have a history of manipulating the truth and even editing it out to forward a narrative.
Alcindor’s “success” in the media world follows a predictable pattern of journalists failing upward. When the public discovered that Alexi McCammond, Axios’s star reporter covering the Biden administration, was dating the deputy press secretary, she was handed the position of editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue. Jeffrey Toobin was suspended from the New Yorker for masturbating on a Zoom call but still maintains his position as a legal analyst for CNN. After perpetuating the false Russian collusion hoax for years, Politico reporter Natasha Bertrand was hired by CNN.
