Like many other friends and members of his family, Candace Cameron Bure can’t stop thinking about the last text conversation she had with former “Full House” co-star Bob Saget.

The two apparently got into a little argument and while they did apologize and make up, Bure is still thinking about how they didn’t have dinner like they were supposed to just two weeks before Saget’s shocking death.

“We were going to have dinner. And we got into a little tiff. And his flight was delayed. We ended up not having dinner,” the “Full House” alum said as her voice trembled with emotion during a “Today” show interview with Hoda Kotb.

“But in Bob fashion, the next day he wrote me, like, what would be pages long of a text. And he was apologizing, saying he was cranky and he was just so sorry.”

Next, Bure had explained how Saget compared himself to his late mother Dolly, who died in 2014.

“He said, ‘Oh, now I feel even worse. I was so wrong. You’re, like, my favorite person on the Earth and I acted like Dolly. I was getting ready to take a late flight, and I was annoyed,’” Bure revealed.

“Bob went on and on and on in the text,” she continued. “And he said at the end, ‘I love you more for the trouble you’re giving me, if that’s even possible.’”

The actress started getting choked up again as she recalled the rest of their conversation.

“I wrote back … ‘I could never be mad at you. Roll my eyes at you? Yes. But never mad,’” she said. “‘And I love that [you’re being like] Dolly. That made me laugh out loud. I loved your mom.’”

Saget then replied, “I love you. My mom loved you too.”

Before,  the “Fuller House” star had told Kotb how terrified she was of accidentally deleting that final text conversation with her late friend.

“I’m so scared that I’m going to pull up his text and then accidentally delete it one day,” she said during the interview. “It scares me so much because I don’t ever want to lose this.”

Bure isn’t the only one holding onto precious final words from Saget. The actor’s wife also shared their final text exchange, which was similarly filled with loving words.

“I was just very grateful that it was all ‘I love you so much.’ I think I said, ‘I love you dearly,’ and he said, ‘I love you endlessly.’ And then I said, ‘I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.’ It was just all love,” Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo shared through her tears during an appearance on The Today Show.

“He valued every single second that we had together,” she continued. “That’s why this is so heartbreaking, but at the same time I know that every second that we had together was just maximized to the fullest. There was nothing left unsaid, and there was nothing left on the table.”

Saget died on January 9, 2022 in his Florida hotel room after a comedy performance. Fans and family are still reeling from his unexpected passing.
