Kanye West is once again making public proclamations on social media. Only this time, the “Donda” rapper is going back on what he said before.

The 44-year-old father of four has been all over the news lately for so many reasons. Ye is interested in reconciling with his ex, Kim Kardashian, and has no love for her current boyfriend Pete Davidson. The rapper also expressed disgust that his and Kardashian’s 8-year-old daughter North West is on TikTok.

But now followers are joking that West must have given his Instagram login info to his PR person. All the inflammatory posts from the past have been deleted, and fans are left with a humble apology that’s noticeably not written in all caps.

“I’ve learned that using all caps makes people feel like I’m screaming at them,” Ye wrote as the caption to a photo of himself on stage. “I’m working on my communication. I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me.”

This is West’s first post since clearing everything else off the account.

“I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener.”

This chastened approach is nowhere near the type of rhetoric West was spewing this weekend. The rapper attended the Super Bowl with his two oldest children after spending Sunday morning blasting Davidson and Kardashian.

“Look at this d***head,” West captioned a photo of Davidson and Kardashian holding hands. “I wonder if Instagram gonna shut down my page for dissing Hilary [sic] Clinton’s ex-boyfriend.”

The “Heartless” rapper had previously pleaded with fans to “scream” at Davidson if they saw him in real life. “My family means more to me than any other accomplishment in life,” West wrote in a separate Instagram post. He instructed fans to scream at the “loser” at the top of their lungs saying, “Kimye forever.”

West was dating model Julia Fox for a few weeks before the pair publicly announced their split in recent days. It came as no surprise to anyone following the Ye/Kardashian drama and his public pleas to reunite their family together.

Meanwhile, Kardashian spoke plainly on how she felt about West airing their drama on social media, especially when it came to their kids.

In her Instagram post, Kardashian said she “wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive coparenting relationship” and that she hoped all future communication would be private.

“It is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way,” Kardashian wrote. “I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
