In wake of President Joe Biden calling Fox News’ Peter Doocy a “son of a b****” for asking if inflation was a political liability, #TemperTantrumJoe reached the top spot on Twitter’s “Trending” page for the United States. Numerous individuals on Twitter pointed out Biden’s vulgar outburst was only the latest meltdown from the commander-in-chief. Spanning a career of 40 years,  Biden has regularly barked at voters and members of the media when pressed on certain topics.

On Monday, The Daily Wire reported that the Biden and Doocy exchange happened when the Fox News reporter asked: “Do you think inflation is a political liability for midterms?”

Biden replied, “It’s a great asset, more inflation. …What a stupid son of a b****.”

An anonymous Twitter user kickstarted the hashtag after tweeting, “Keep the Nuclear Codes away from #TemperTantrumJoe.”

From there, it spread like wildfire. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) tweeted, “You know you failed when you campaigned on being the ‘adult’ but just a year and some days into your Presidency #TemperTantrumJoe is top trending.”

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) wondered, “If Joe Biden can’t handle Peter Doocy, how is he supposed to handle Vladimir Putin? #TemperTantrumJoe.”

Townhall pointed out that Biden himself told his staffers that he would “fire” anybody whom he caught being disrespectful towards a colleague.

In January 2021, Biden told his administration’s political appointees, “But I’m not joking when I say this, if you are ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you on the spot.”

This led folks to wonder if Biden is going to fire himself after the derogatory comment toward Doocy:

Some Leftists like progressive Jon Pavolitz actually defended the president.

“Wait, wait, MAGAs… so you want us to believe #SleepyJoe is now #TemperTantrumJoe?,” he tweeted. “Which is it kids? Maybe your problem is that he’s #CompetentDecentCompassionateJoe and you’re not used to competency, decency, or compassion in a president.”

But readers should remember that Biden has had similar outbursts time and time again. In December 2019, he appeared to call an Iowan voter “fat,” challenged him to a push-up contest, and called him a “d*** liar” for asking questions about his son, Hunter Biden.

In March 2020, while answering questions from a Michigan autoworker about the Second Amendment, Biden told a campaign aide to “hush” when she tried to pull him away from the confrontation and even told the Michigan voter that he was “full of s***.”

In 1988, on his first presidential run, Biden told a New Hampshire voter that he had a “much higher” IQ than the individual did, and then continued on to lie about his academic record. Ultimately, Biden ended that campaign in part because of his academic dishonesty and accusations that he plagiarized speeches from Scottish politician Neil Kinnock.
