Ouch. President Joe Biden is so unpopular that he can’t even get any love in New York City. On Monday afternoon, a man and a woman said the explicit version of “Let’s go Brandon!” in the middle of a live Fox News broadcast. The colorful salute to the president came as Fox News correspondent David Lee Miller was giving an update on Broadway’s decision to shut down in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases.
Townhall flagged the clip via Twitter, saying, “Passersby drop the f-bomb directed at Joe Biden while walking through a Fox News interview on the street in New York City.”

It is no secret that Biden is wildly disliked by a large segment of the U.S. population. As The Daily Wire reported earlier this month, polls indicate that the majority of Americans do not want to see him run for office again in 2024:
A new poll should ring alarm bells in the White House after showing Americans don’t want President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket in 2024.
The new poll, from I&I/TIPP, asked respondents who they wanted to run in 2024, and just 22% said they wanted Biden, while 12% said they wanted Harris. But, the Boston Herald pointed out, there is some good news for the administration, since “no favorite has emerged among the large field of potential challengers to run against Biden in the 2024 primaries.”
The latest poll comes on the heels of one from The Wall Street Journal earlier this week that placed Biden’s approval rating at 41%.
“It’s undeniable. Joe Biden is hurting in the polls right now and it’s due to a number of factors,” Erin O’Brien, associate professor of political science at UMass Boston, told the Herald.
O’Brien noted that the factors leading to Biden’s bad poll numbers include the ongoing pandemic, inflation, and his terrible foreign policy.
Likewise, on Monday a new poll revealed that just 41% of Americans approve of the job Biden is doing as president.
Earlier this year, fans began chanting “F*** Joe Biden” at college football games. That phrase gave way to the more PG euphemism of “Let’s go Brandon!” after a reporter speaking to NASCAR driver Brandon Brown claimed the crowd was chanting “Let’s go Brandon!” after his Talladega win. They were not. It was audible that the crowd was chanting “F*** Joe Biden.”
That chant has become so popular that some like Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY) have speculated it is why the commander-in-chief skipped this year’s Army vs. Navy college football game:
“I don’t know exactly why he did not attend,” Zeldin told SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday. “However, I will say this — and I’ll state it as my opinion, and it could very well be a fact — if President Biden showed up at yesterday’s game, there’s a good possibility that you would have had the largest ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chant that has taken place.”
