Hunter “The Artist” Biden may need to review the latest report issued by his father’s White House, warning potential illicit actors about the dangers of making a living in the money laundering business.
Flagged by Senior Ethics Fellow at Project of Government Oversight Walter Shaub, the White House released a document titled “United States Strategy on Countering Corruption.”
The report noted, “The markets for art and antiquities—and the market participants who facilitate transactions—are especially vulnerable to a range of financial crimes.”
“Built-in opacity, lack of stable and predictable pricing, and inherent cross-border transportability of goods sold, make the market optimal for illicit value transfer, sanctions evasion, and corruption,” the report added.

The report also stated that the U.S. government would “also hold accountable those who choose to engage in corruption. As part of this effort, the U.S. Government will enforce existing rules using proven tools, while also working with the Congress on new authorities to take on the corruption challenge as it stands today.”
This past year, Hunter Biden announced his decision to enter the art world. Shortly thereafter, buyers began shelling out boatloads of cash for the “esteemed” painter’s work.
The Daily Wire reported a puzzling move made by the White House in what it said was a decision to cut down on any potential corruption between father and son.
The White House worked out a deal where Hunter’s buyers would supposedly be kept secret, so as to not give the impression President Joe Biden could be influenced by purchasers of his son’s art:
Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration has reportedly helped his son, Hunter Biden, create an agreement that will allow buyers of his suspiciously expensive artwork — which could be listed as high as $500,000 — to remain completely secret from the American people.
“Under an arrangement negotiated in recent months, a New York gallery owner is planning to set prices for the art and will withhold all records, including potential bidders and final buyers,” The Washington Post reported. “Biden’s art sale, expected to take place this fall, comes with potential challenges. Not only has Biden previously been accused of trading in on his father’s name, but his latest vocation is in a field where works do not have a tangible fixed value and where concerns have arisen about secretive buyers and undisclosed sums.”
Still, to this day the White House insists that neither Hunter nor his dad could be swayed by money, even in the face of potential evidence that Hunter used his family ties in China and abroad to make money for himself and his father — AKA “The Big Guy.”
On Twitter, former White House assistant press secretary Chad Gilmartin wasn’t so convinced that a bad actor would not try to influence Hunter with the sweet temptation of cold hard cash.
“But I’m sure nobody would seek to influence Hunter Biden, who only recently entered the art sale industry,” Gilmartin tweeted.
