Aaron Rodgers and actress Shailene Woodley were reportedly spotted together at a Packer’s teammate’s wedding after the superstar couple recently called off their engagement.
The Green Bay QB and the 30-year-old actress both reportedly attended fellow Packer David Bakhtiari’s wedding to Frankie Shebby over the weekend in Santa Barbara, California, where Rodgers did the officiating for the special ceremony, reported People magazine in a piece published Monday.
A source with knowledge shared with the outlet that the two are “trying to remain friendly.”

“They both had intense work schedules in the fall and it wasn’t possible for them to focus on their relationship,” the source shared. “Now when Aaron’s season is over, he wants to give it another try. He thinks Shailene is very special. She is more hesitant though.”
One insider shared with E! News the superstar quarterback and “Divergent” star “are spending time together but not fully back on.”
“She’s[Woodley] not wearing the engagement ring,” the source shared. “They are testing the waters.”
“Since he’s been off they have been able to take some time to work on their relationship and try to figure things out,” the same source added. “They are going to continue trying to do that and see what happens.”
The “Big Little Lies” star and Rodgers were engaged for over a year before reports surfaced they had called off their engagement.
“They are two very different people,” a source shared with the outlet at the time. “They are both focused on their careers but it took them in separate directions.”
“They remain supportive of one another and on good terms,” the source added.
In February, a source close to Rodgers said the breakup was “amicable,” reported People magazine.
“It was an amicable split; it just wasn’t working,” a source shared at the time. “They’re very different people with busy careers and there were obstacles that they couldn’t surmount. They will remain friendly; there’s no bad blood and no drama. It just didn’t work out for them.”
Days after news of their split, the Green Bay star posted a message on Instagram about how he was grateful to her and for her love.
“Thanks for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet, and for showing me what unconditional love looks like, I love you and am grateful for you,” Rodgers post read.
