On Friday, the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) announced that The Daily Wire’s editor emeritus Ben Shapiro will deliver the keynote address at the first-ever CPAC Israel.
The inaugural event will be held on July 20 and will also feature speakers such as former U.S. Attorney General Matt Whitaker, former Ambassador Richard Grenell, CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp, and CPAC Senior Fellow Mercedes Schlapp.
“President Biden will disgrace America when he visits the Middle East in July and stops in Israel – a nation whose very existence is under threat from the Iran nuclear deal he helped deliver,” Matt Schlapp said in a statement first provided to The Daily Wire.
“CPAC Israel will be in Tel Aviv with Ben Shapiro to firmly support the nation of Israel and oppose terrorist regimes,” he added.
The group also noted that CPAC Israel will be held “just days after President Joe Biden plans to be in Israel to promote Iran, advance woke ideology, brush off human rights abuses and beg for foreign oil.”
“Ironically, CPAC and Joe Biden will discuss the same things,” the CPAC chairman explained. “Biden will push Israel to go Woke while we will encourage Israelis to fight for their survival; Biden will pressure Israel to seek appeasement with Iran while we will rally Israelis to continue being the greatest democracy in the Middle East. Biden will beg Saudi Arabia for foreign oil while we will always support energy independence, at home and abroad.”
The first CPAC took place in 1974. In recent years, CPAC has started holding conferences in various countries around the globe while promoting conservative ideals.
“CPAC Israel is part of a series of international events to promote freedom and national sovereignty that recognizes the dignity and worth of every individual,” the press release from CPAC noted. “Other international CPAC events this year include CPAC Hungary, CPAC Brazil, CPAC Mexico, CPAC Japan, and CPAC Australia.”
Shapiro has spoken at previous CPAC events, including in 2018.

Shapiro’s sister, Abby, has also made an appearance at CPAC.

The group will also host CPAC Texas in Dallas this August.
