Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz blasted Democrats for their support of “radicals” who have been protesting at the homes of Supreme Court justices and at churches.

Cruz shared the searing remarks on Twitter following an interview on Fox News’ “Hannity” on Monday night.

“It’s disgraceful that Democrats are championing the radicals who are protesting at Justices’ homes and protesting in churches,” Cruz wrote.

“None of these Democrats care. Joe Biden won’t condemn it. The White House won’t condemn the leak. Instead, they sit back and say, ‘Oh, isn’t that interesting,’” Cruz said regarding last week’s leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s reported draft of an opinion that could return decisions regarding abortion laws to individual states.

The senator also criticized the protests by abortion-rights activists at the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices.

“These thugs have no business at the private homes of any government official, these Supreme Court justices or anyone else,” he argued.

“These are the same thugs who are firebombing pro-life outlets. These are the same thugs that are going into churches, disturbing churches. They hate faith, they hate God, they hate the Catholic Church, and it is disgusting to see Joe Biden and the entirety of the Democratic Party turn a blind eye,” Cruz added.

In another post on Twitter, the Texas senator compared the radical activists outside of the homes of Supreme Court justices to “Marxists and communists.”

“Just like Marxists and communists, they’re willing to burn down our institutions to get what they want,” Cruz wrote.

On Sunday, Cruz argued that Biden is refusing to condemn Left-wing activist groups publishing the addresses of justices, calling it “destructive to the Court.”

Cruz has also referred to the leak of the pending pro-life case as leaving him “speechless” in an op-ed published last week.

“In over two centuries of our nation’s history, this has never happened. This leak is an unprecedented breach of the trust that every clerk, justice, and employee of the Supreme Court owes to the institution. It’s impossible to overstate the gravity of this ethical—and possibly legal—violation. The wound to the independence and integrity of the court may well be one from which the court never fully recovers,” the senator wrote.

In contrast, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) applauded the “righteous anger” of abortion-rights activists in a letter sent on Monday to fellow House Democrats to encourage them to carry on the fight against the pro-life movement.

“While we have seen and heard extraordinary anguish in our communities, we have been moved by how so many have channeled their righteous anger into meaningful action: planning to march and mobilize to make their voices heard,” Pelosi wrote.

Pelosi also thanked House Democrats for their commitment to abortion.

“Thank you for your powerful commitment to carrying on the fight for the rights of all Americans,” she concluded.

The letter was sent just one day after the headquarters of a pro-life organization in Wisconsin was set on fire in what appears to be a politically-motivated attack.
