Chrissy Teigen is planning to expand her family again.

The 36-year-old model already has two children, Luna Simone (5) and Miles Theodore (3), with husband John Legend. She also recently experienced a devastating miscarriage of her son Jack when she was 20 weeks pregnant.

Teigen started some rumors over the weekend after posting a photo of needles and capsules that could be used for an egg retrieval procedure to her Instagram stories. She wrote, “Here we go again” as a caption along with a GIF of a pink crying uterus. This led to a lot of speculation that the “Cravings” author was undergoing IVF to have another baby.

The model confirmed the situation in a later post on her Instagram account.

“hiiii. I posted about it in my stories, but I wanted to let you guys know I’m balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos,” she wrote.

“I honestly don’t mind the shots…they make me feel like a doctor/chemist…but the bloating is a bitch,” Teigen continued. “So I humbly beg you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant!”

“But also like please stop asking people, anyone, if they’re pregnant,” she went on, promising her 37 million followers that she will “be the one to tell you” if treatments are successful and she gets pregnant.

Teigen spoke candidly about how the loss of her unborn son affected her. She told parenting site Scary Mommy how she keeps Jack’s memory alive by taking his ashes with the family when they travel.

“Whether we go on a vacation or something, [Luna and Miles] always say, ‘Don’t forget baby Jack.’ And then I have to pack him up,” she told the publication. “And then we get to where we’re going, they’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, he must be thirsty.’ This might sound crazy to people, but they’ll put a little glass of water next to his little box of ashes. And they really love being a part of it.”

Last year, Teigen shared a photo of a bracelet with her children’s names, including Jack’s, on what would have been his due date.

The cookbook author shared a photo of the name bracelets to her Instagram Story on February 20, 2021. “Today was your due date. we love you forever,” she wrote at the time, according to People.

Both of Teigen and Legend’s other children were also conceived via IVF due to infertility issues, which the model has been candid about all along. She told Today in April 2021, “I think our journey with fertility and infertility has been very public for a very long time. I just felt that the more public we were, the more public other people were,” she said.

“There’s so many different ways to make your dream happen now,” Teigen continued.
