Former President Donald Trump spoke out about the FBI’s raid of his Florida home in a Monday interview, warning that people are incredibly “angry” about the raid and other attacks against him.

“People are so angry at what is taking place,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “Whatever we can do to help—because the temperature has to be brought down in the country. If it isn’t, terrible things are going to happen.”

Trump referenced the “years of fake witch hunts and phony Russia, Russia, Russia schemes and scams,” emphasizing that “nothing happens to those people who perpetuate that—nothing happens with them.”

He added: “And then they break into a president’s house— a sneak attack where it was totally—no one ever thought a thing like this would happen.”

Trump also said he told the DOJ he would do whatever he could to help. It is not immediately clear what kind of help Trump offered the DOJ, and the former president’s team did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

“If there is anything we can do to help, I, and my people, would certainly be willing to do that,” Trump told Fox News Digital.

“The country is in a very dangerous position,” he said. “There is tremendous anger, like I’ve never seen before, over all of the scams, and this new one—years of scams and witch hunts, and now this.”

Trump told the outlet that he “has not heard” from the Justice Department regarding whether or not it will accept his offer of assistance.

“I think they would want the same thing—I’ve never seen anything like this,” he said. “It is a very dangerous time for our country.”

“I will do whatever I can to help the country,” he added.

Agents reportedly seized classified records during the unprecedented raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Largo home last week, including some reported records marked as top secret. Trump has said the records were declassified.

Following the raid, the Department of Homeland Security and FBI have warned of increased “violent” threats to agents, as well as “general calls” for ‘civil war’ and ‘armed rebellion,’” Fox News reported from an FBI bulletin. The document says, “the FBI and DHS have identified multiple articulated threats and calls for the targeted killing of judicial law enforcement and government officials associated with the Palm Beach search, including the Federal judge who approved the Palm Beach search warrant.”
