Buckingham Palace reportedly has a message for Kim Kardashian, who wanted an invitation to the official Platinum Jubilee celebration marking Queen Elizabeth II’s 70-year reign: Nope.

Representatives for Kardashian reportedly asked for tickets for her and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, but the Palace as well as publicists at the BBC, which will broadcast the show, said no.

“Kim was so determined to attend that a source told the Daily Mail she is trying to acquire tickets by other means — and has even said she doesn’t mind if the tickets are ‘not VIP,’ The Daily Mail reported, adding, “Some 10,000 tickets were allocated via a public ballot, and 7,500 have been given to key workers, those in the Armed Forces, volunteers and charities.”

On Thursday night at Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth, 96, whose 70-year reign is the longest in English history, led the lighting of 3,500 beacons across the United Kingdom and the British Commonwealth as she touched the Commonwealth of Nations Globe. Some of those beacons were lit at the Tower of London, Windsor Great Park, Hillsborough Castle, and atop the United Kingdom’s four highest mountains.

The beacons were lit as “reimagining and repurposing the torchlight relays once deployed in England to warn of a possible invasion — from marauding Vikings in 793 or the Spanish Armada in 1588 or Napoleon in 1803,” The Washington Post reported.

On Friday, a religious service of thanksgiving was held at St. Paul’s Cathedral; Queen Elizabeth did not attend, after making three appearances on Thursday. She reportedly watched the service on television.

The archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, noted the queen’s love of horse racing, thanking her for “staying the course” and adding that the “race of life” resembled a long-distance course rather than a sprint, The New York Times reported.

“Your Majesty, we are sorry that you are not here with us this morning, but we are so glad that you are still in the saddle,” he stated. “We are glad that there is still more to come.”

Queen Elizabeth II has been touted for her dignity time after time; that contrasts with Kardashian, who told The New York Times she’d even “eat poop” if it kept her skin looking young, as she stated, “I’ll try anything. …  If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might. I just might.”
