Tucker Carlson opened his Fox News show on Tuesday night covering how the popular social media account Libs of TikTok got doxxed by The Washington Post. The account creator joined Tucker by phone to discuss having her identity revealed by tech journalist Taylor Lorenz earlier that day and how that report has affected her life.
“These past few days have been very chaotic and overwhelming,” she told the Fox News host. “I had to make some travel plans really fast.”
“I’m now in a location where I don’t think anyone would find me,” the Libs of TikTok creator continued, echoing a tweet she put out earlier on Tuesday saying she was “holed up in a safe location” and thankful for the support of all her fans and followers.

During her conversation with Carlson, the social media sensation also mentioned she was not intimidated and wasn’t planning to stop posting on the account because of the WaPo article. Even since the report was published, the account has been very active.
After saying the German government wanted to “intimidate her into silence,” the creator confirmed, “That’s just never gonna happen.”
Elsewhere on the segment, Carlson rehashed the events that led to Libs of TikTok having her identity revealed by a mainstream media outlet. He showed some clips the account previously shared of trans preschool teachers bragging about their lesson plans, explaining how Libs of TikTok simply reposted public videos that were already available.
“You could see the raw video… and assess it for yourself,” Carlson explained.
He mentioned how Libs of TikTok helped expose other events occurring in schools, such as a student getting verbally assaulted by a teacher for wearing his mask beneath his nose.
Carlson also mentioned how the original WaPo article published early Tuesday morning had the link to her name and an address associated with her real estate account. Later, the link with identifying information was removed, but WaPo released a statement addressing the backlash and standing by Lorenz’s reporting.
“Taylor Lorenz is a diligent and accomplished journalist whose reporting methods comport entirely with the Washington Post’s professional standards,” Cameron Barr, senior managing editor at the Post said in a statement on Tuesday. She continued to claim the publication “did not publish or link to any details about [the creator’s] personal life.” This claim can be easily disproven with an archived version of the article.
Lorenz also defended herself, saying in a tweet, “Rather than debate ‘doxxing,’ I hope people can read this story and see the striking escalation of attacks against gay and trans people, and the crucial role this account has played in the right wing media ecosystem.”
She later complained that her critics were coming after her family members following the publication of the article.
