Tucker Carlson has become one of those liberal elitists he takes to the woodshed every night on Fox News – just look at his updated Twitter profile.

The cable news star and blue-check pundit updated his page to list all the qualifications of a charter member of the chattering class. But it probably won’t shock his 5.2 million followers, who likely know Tucker Carlson sarcasm when they see it.

“Emmy-award-winning broadcast journalist, graduate of Harvard College and Yale Law School and frequent visitor to the Aspen Inst.,” the profile now reads. “Fully vaccinated. They/Theirs.”

Reached by The Daily Wire, Carlson still had his tongue firmly in cheek.

“I rarely talk about my time at Harvard or Yale Law; I think it speaks for itself,” Carlson said. “And of course anything Jeffrey Goldberg and I discuss at the Aspen Institute is by definition confidential, not that you’d understand it anyway. So I hope my Twitter bio didn’t come off as bragging. I just want to give our audience confidence in my credentials. Everything I say on television has been fully vetted by experts. It’s not disinformation.”

For the record, Carlson has never won an Emmy, despite having worked in television for nearly 30 years and now sitting atop the cable news ratings with “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” He graduated from Trinity College in Connecticut in 1991 with a history degree and frequently mocks the Ivy leagues as an overpriced “credentialing” scam.

Carlson has been known to ski in Aspen, his vaccination status is the subject of speculation, and he has previously never listed his pronouns, so who knows?

Carlson regularly draws well over 4 million viewers per night, more than four times the audiences of his time-slot competitors on CNN and MSNBC. The New York Times recently ran an unprecedented multi-part series on him, with headlines including: “How Tucker Carlson Reshaped Fox News — and Became Trump’s Heir,” “How Tucker Carlson Stoked White Fear to Conquer Cable,” and “How ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ Fuels Extremism and Fear.”

Carlson responded by tweeting a picture of him holding up the newspaper and laughing.

When pressed, Carlson admitted the real reason for his social media mischief was the House vote Tuesday night to send $40 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, even as the U.S teeters on the brink of recession and has a national debt topping $30 trillion.

“That Ukraine vote made me so mad, I’m desperate to amuse myself,” he said.
