Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) on Monday accused the Left of intimidating conservative Supreme Court justices, arguing that the disrespect will continue if the Biden administration allows it.

Kennedy shared the remarks during an interview on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.”

“This is more than just about abortion. It’s about respect for American institutions. I think most people can say that all of this is being driven by the anti-intellectual, crypto-socialist woke left that the Biden administration has embraced and frankly, that is in charge of in Washington, D.C. When the draft opinion was leaked, the wokers’ response was immediate,” Kennedy said.

The Louisiana senator also argued that most leaders in the Biden administration have refused to push back on the intimidation tactics.

“They said, ‘We don’t agree with it, so let’s burn the place down, let’s intimidate the justices, let’s intimidate their spouses, let’s intimidate their kids, let’s publish their telephone numbers and addresses on the Internet and, while we’re at it, let’s pack the court and abolish the filibuster.’ What you allow is what will continue, and the Biden administration has embraced that. I don’t think the Biden administration and most of my Democratic colleagues have pushed back at all,” Kennedy added.

Kennedy’s allegations of court intimidation come just two days after pro-abortion protestors marched in front of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s home wearing “bloodstained” clothing and carrying toy dolls to protest the Court’s potential overturn of Roe v. Wade.

The Saturday action adds to a series of protests at the residences of conservative Supreme Court justices.

“We aren’t incubators! Youth procession delivered baby dolls to Amy Coney Barrett. We aren’t protesting to change the minds of women-hating fascists. We’re calling on the pro-choice majority, on YOU, to get in the streets to STOP #SCOTUS from overturning Roe,” the Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights Twitter account posted along with a video of the protest.

The event took place two days after President Joe Biden signed a bill to expand security protection for Supreme Court justices and their family members on Thursday.

The bill passed 396-27 on Tuesday, with all 27 votes opposing the legislation coming from Democrats. The bill passed unanimously in the Senate.

Concerns have run high after an arrest was made earlier this month of a man on an attempted murder charge near the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The arrest also followed multiple protests at the homes of conservative justices since a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion from Justice Samuel Alito.

The leak revealed that the court might overturn Roe v. Wade in a pending Mississippi pro-life case that could return laws regarding abortion to individual states.

In addition to protests at the homes of justices, a series of attacks have occurred at houses of worship and pro-life centers nationwide, with growing concerns that abortion activists could threaten further violence when the case’s ruling is released later this month.
