Just weeks after an embarrassing stumble and falling on the Air Force One stairway, President Joe Biden survived a near slip again Wednesday.
Videos of the stutter step were circulating on social media videos, and as the New York Post reported.
President Biden was making a trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to pitch his $2 trillion infrastructure plan, flying out on Air Force One.
President Biden, 78, carrying his own bag in his left hand and an umbrella in his right amid a rainy day, appeared to have misjudged the height of one of the steps with his left foot on his ascent up the Air Force One stairs.
His left foot came down without issue and he made it up the steps before turning and saluting the soldiers at the bottom.
Biden was not injured in his last Air Force One mishap, according to White House communications director Kate Bedingfield.
“I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him,” she said, the Post reported.
Biden was the oldest president in U.S. history on the day he entered office.
Former President Donald Trump expressed concern for his successor in an interview with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump on Tuesday night.
Despite momentary concern, Trump did bash President Biden for his “trip up the stairs,” saying the current president “didn’t know where the hell he was.”
