Joe Biden signed a new act into law aimed at providing more support to victims of the mysterious Havana Syndrome. In a statement on Friday, the White House said the bipartisan bill would help ensure the most was done to provide for U.S. government personnel who have experienced these abnormal health incidents.
The White House said many have been struggling with debilitating brain injuries that have curtailed their careers of service to the U.S. It added addressing these incidents was a top priority for the administration.
“We are bringing to bear the full resources of the U.S. Government to make available first-class medical care to those affected and to get to the bottom of these incidents, including to determine the cause and who is responsible,” Joe Biden explained. “Protecting Americans and all those who serve our country is our first duty, and we will do everything we can to care for our personnel and their families.”
