The U.S. Chamber of Commerce made efforts to push moderate Democrats to pass the bipartisan infrastructure proposal immediately. According to Friday reports, the chamber has been running digital ads in support of the infrastructure plan.

The ad is shown praising a group of moderate Democrats who have been calling for the bill’s passage. Lawmakers said they were ready to block the Democrat’s larger reconciliation package unless the bipartisan measure was passed.

Some have pushed for the bills to be separated for passage, but Democrat leadership has remained steadfast in their desire to tie infrastructure to the partisan budget plan.

Many moderates agree on wanting infrastructure immediately and say they are uncomfortable tying it to partisan priorities.
