The 45th president has continued to criticize congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) for apparently betraying the Republican Party. In a statement Monday, Donald Trump said she’s supporting far-left Democrats even though those Democrats did everything possible to destroy her father.

Cheney’s father, Dick Cheney, faced fierce attacks by Democrats while serving as vice president to George W. Bush. Trump added, Democrats will use Cheney to advance their own agenda and after that they will destroy her too. He pointed out the congresswoman is now polling at an all-time low in her state of Wyoming.

Meanwhile, Trump also took aim at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) while asserting the Kentucky lawmaker is giving Democrats “victory on everything.”

In a separate statement Sunday, the 45th president blasted McConnell for allowing Democrats to raise the debt ceiling without reconciliation. He said McConnell didn’t have the guts to play the debt ceiling card. Trump warned Democrats will use the debt ceiling against Republicans at the first chance they get.

The 45th president then stressed McConnell is hurting GOP senators, the party as a whole and should be voted out of party leadership.
