Facebook officials have struck back against Joe Biden as the federal government said it’s working with the social media platform to fight so-called disinformation. According to a Facebook official this weekend, the White House is looking for a scapegoat after missing its vaccine goals.
“Democrats are all about the First Amendment except when they don’t like what’s being said,” Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas) commented.

The comment came after Biden ahead of the weekend said the platform is “killing people.” The official noted, in private exchanges the surgeon general praised Facebook’s work, including efforts to inform people about COVID-19.
An official statement from Facebook said it won’t be distracted by accusations, which aren’t supported by facts.
