Florida has sued the Biden administration over its “Catch and Release” policies along the southern border. On Tuesday, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody filed a lawsuit alongside Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to demand Biden to uphold federal law and protect our border.
The suit alleged Catch and Release policies hurt the Sunshine State because incoming migrants would cost the state’s taxpayers millions of dollars. Moody asserted these problems would not be tolerated.
“I don’t care if it is extreme incompetence, if it is radical liberal policy agenda, no one, let me repeat that, no one is above the law,” she expressed. “We are seeing dramatic effects at our border. It is an unmitigated crisis based on this president’s refusal to follow federal law.”

In addition, DeSantis signed an executive order on Tuesday to prohibit Florida state agencies from working with the Biden administration along the southern border so long as Biden’s border policies remained in place.
