Former GOP New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Joe Biden’s campaign promises were dead. Giving commentary on ABC’s This Week on Sunday, Christie stressed Biden’s agenda faced a fatal blow last week as Congress failed to pass his budget and infrastructure bills.

The former Trump campaign adviser added Biden capitulating to progressive demands on Capitol Hill diminished his push to unite the nation.

“When he went to the Hill, 2020 Joe Biden is now officially dead and buried. The guy who ran against the progressives, ran against Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, ran to be a uniter in this country, ran saying he was going to force compromise,” he expressed.
“He went up to Capitol Hill, and he capitulated to the progressives, the liberals in his party. Why should we be surprised? He couldn’t stand up to the Taliban. How could we expect him to stand up to AOC?”

Christie went on to suggest Biden’s failure to pass his own policies posed a problem for the Democrat party in future elections.
