Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin revealed his new plan to restore academic excellence in the state’s schools. The former CEO launched the Educators for Youngkin Coalition on Tuesday in an effort to “return common sense to the classroom, so that children are taught how to think instead of what to think.”
Youngkin has said on the campaign trail that if elected, he would fight against leftist indoctrination in Virginia’s schools.
“Well, we’re not gonna go teach critical race theory in our schools and we are absolutely going to press forward with school choice and charter schools,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Youngkin’s campaign appears to face an uphill battle as Republicans have not won a statewide office in Virginia in more than a decade.
