President Joe Biden’s teasing reform to the Senate filibuster is a dangerous signal for pushing through the progressive “anti-business” agenda without any Republican support in Congress, according to Trump administration economic adviser Larry Kudlow.

“If they get rid of the filibuster, then a lot of the [progressive Democratic] legislative agenda will go through,” Kudlow told Sunday’s “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 770 AM-N.Y.

“Of course Mitch McConnell’s going to fight it. McConnell has other Senate rules that he can use to slow the train down, but I think that’s a big problem.”

Kudlow noted to host John Catsimatidis, Biden’s Thursday press conference “is the first time that I’ve heard President Biden really adamantly saying the filibuster has to change.

“He’s been lukewarm on that before, but now it’s very clear to me he wants that to change,” Kudlow lamented.

The Biden agenda is going to crush business, growth, and the middle class, Kudlow added.

“Most of these initiatives are anti-business, a lot of class warfare against wealthy people, raise the capital gains tax, double the capital gains tax,” he continued. “This is a big thing. I think that’s one of the key points that came out of the press conference.”

Kudlow also spoke out vehemently against the class warfare and raising taxes.

High taxes “are not going to build an economy,” Kudlow said. “You’re not going to be competitive around the world. You’re not going to bring investment home. You’re going to repel investment. Corporations will leave.

“Inversions will start all over again. If we wage war on businesses and wealthy investors, that’s nuts. And that’s part of this class warfare that will do great harm to our economy and to the stock market.”
