A Las Vegas mother was left fuming after she said her 9-year old son had a mask taped to his face by a substitute teacher. The parent, who wishes to remain anonymous, said Sunday that she’s demanding the substitute resign.
She’s also worried her son could suffer in the long run as the incident happened in front of his entire class. She’s not just scared for her child, but furious it could happen at all. The concerned parent recounted the incident:
The Las Vegas mother said that a second layer of tape was put on and was only noticed when her child went to the office to pick up homework dropped off by his father. The administration at the school was so alarmed by the tape on the boy’s face, they went and investigated. They then found other children with taped on masks in the class.
According to the boy, the teacher had been forcibly taping down students’ masks since the beginning of the school year.
