People talk before the start of a rally against “critical race theory” (CRT) being taught in schools at the Loudoun County Government center in Leesburg, Virginia.

A group of Minnesotans filed three lawsuits after facing retaliation for speaking out against critical race theory. According to filings this week, the individuals said they have been bullied, retaliated against and even demoted for speaking out against critical race theory in their places of work and education.

One woman was demoted from her position for her opposition of critical race theory and said it has absorbed her organization. One man said he was practically forced to retire after the hostility he faced for his religious beliefs being against CRT.

“CRT push is hurting the mission of all the organizations. They are in educational organizations, healthcare and treatment organizations, and counseling and care organizations,” attorney Doug Seaton explained. “These are all being subverted by propaganda of CRT.”

All three suits aim for political neutrality as many continue to face discrimination for being “racist.”
