Hotels are reportedly overwhelmed by the influx of migrants coming into the border town of McAllen, Texas. According to reports by Breitbart on Saturday, Catholic Charities Respite Center is struggling to deal with the massive numbers of migrants released into the town.

Catholic Charities is the organization paying for the use of the hotels to quarantine over 1,000 COVID positive migrants outside border patrol’s overflow facility. The group also welcomed migrants into the town in order to set up arrangements to travel across the U.S.

“The National Border Patrol Council is extremely concerned with the administration turning a blind eye to the massive influx of illegal crossings along the southern border,” a spokesperson for the NBPC told Breitbart. “It has been reported that in the last week, more than 1,500 COVID positive illegal border crossers have been released into the city of McAllen alone.”

Over 1,000 migrants continue to be released into the town on a daily basis as the border crisis rages on.
