President Trump and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) recently took aim at the Biden administration for causing the crisis at the southern border. While visiting Texas on Wednesday, the 45th president received a border security briefing and held a roundtable before heading to the wall to get a first hand look at the situation.

During his visit, President Trump spoke about his work securing the U.S. southern border and the success of his administration in stemming the flow off illegal immigrants and drugs. Meanwhile, Abbott called on the Biden administration to address the crisis instead of making it worse.

“Things have changed so quickly and so dramatically under the Biden administration; it has been amazing and disastrous,” stated the Texas governor. “”And now we have an open, really dangerous border; more dangerous than it’s ever been in the history of our country and we better go back fast.”

The leaders then headed to the border wall, where progress stopped when Biden took office, to get a first-hand look at the situation. The site has been one of the main areas of entry for illegal immigrants pouring in the U.S.
