California Rep. Maxine Waters (D) recently slammed the senior senator from her state for not supporting efforts to end the filibuster.
During an interview Sunday, Waters said Sen. Diane Feinstein (D) was causing problems for Democrats due to her lack of cooperation. She added, it’s a major concern Feinstein might vote “no” to end the filibuster as eliminating the procedure is a major aspect of the Democrats’ agenda.
“There are real concerns about her as she is not able to make a commitment about filibuster, “Waters stated. “The progressive community and, you know, most of us in the democratic caucus are progressives. We want to do what is takes to get rid of the filibuster.”
We made McConnell the Senate MINORITY leader, but he's trying to hold on to power with the filibuster – a tool gifted to him by the Jim Crow Era.
We have got to be strategic if we want real & meaningful change! It's time to #EndTheFilibuster & protect voting rights! Be bold!

Waters said while she is not currently asking for Feinstein to resign, she will continue to openly criticize the senator while hoping to change her mind.
