Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) warned about the darker side of Joe Biden’s growing list of government handouts. He suggested bad things are going to happen to the economy due to the current administration’s policy agenda.

During an interview on Tuesday, the Kentucky lawmaker said America could face hyperinflation as a result of the Democrat-proposed multi-trillion dollar spending package.

“We have to survive until 2022, people are very unhappy,” he stated. “I mean, I don’t know one thing that Biden’s really done very well so far…inflating is coming on, the economy is slowing, people aren’t going back to work, the debt is rising dramatically”

Paul stressed free government handouts touted by Democrats are not really free and will be paid for by high taxes.

“They tell you it’s free, but in the end you’ll find out a decade from now people will go ‘how come I’m not any better off? How come I’m, in some ways, worse off and have less things?’” he continued. “It’s because inflation sort of robbed a femoral sort of gift they gave you. It wasn’t really real.”

According to senator, Biden’s economic policy could lead America down the path of socialism and crush economic freedom.

Sen. Paul said Republicans must win majorities in both chambers of Congress in next year’s midterms to stop the disastrous Democrat agenda.
