President Donald Trump has decided to take his blog, ‘From the Desk of Donald J. Trump’, down permanently. According to Senior Aide Jason Miller, the website will not be going back online as the Trump team is working on broader efforts.
Miller stated, “hoping to have more information on the broader efforts soon, but I do not have a precise awareness of timing.”
Yes, actually, it is. Stay tuned! https://t.co/USKGvVXe2f

Miller did not have any specific details about those forthcoming plans and said he does not have a precise awareness of timing. This comes after the blog had been launched last month and was promoted as a “communications platform” and place to “speak freely and safely”.
Trump sought new ways to electronically communicate with the American people after social media giants Facebook and Twitter banned him from their platforms. The platform, usually referred to as a blog, had a feed full of Trump’s various posts and gave visitors the option to “like” and share his posts to the same platforms that had him banned.
