A set of twin sisters in Maryland are arrested and charged in the brutal murder of their 17-year-old brother. Lemae and Leaundra Matthews, 23, face charges connected to the murder of 17-year-old Christian Matthews nearly four years after the teenager was found dead in his room.

The arrests Friday follow the arrest and jailing of 24-year-old Tysean Lipford in 2019 after he admitted to strangling the teen. Reports said Leaundra asked her then-boyfriend Lipford to kill her brother after Matthews threatened her and her baby.

Police said another man, 25-year-old Daniel Howard, was also arrested for allegedly holding the teen down while Lipford choked him to death. Lipford is currently serving a 30-year sentence for first-degree murder. As for now, the other three suspects are being held without bond.
