The U.S. Special Envoy to North Korea said he’s ready to sit down with North Korean officials to talk about reducing their nuclear arsenal.
While speaking with his South Korean counterpart Monday, Sung Kim attempted to simmer tensions with North Korea regarding joint military exercises with South Korea. He reassured it’s routine to engage with the United States’ long-standing allies in the south.
His remarks came after North Korea’s leaders warned the Biden administration not to continue the drills while claiming it looks like Joe Biden’s gearing up to attack their sovereignty.
