Emmy Award-winning journalist Lara Logan announced Thursday that she will be leaving left-wing Big Tech platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, because she can no longer “in good conscience contribute to platforms who glorify & enrich themselves at the expense of children who they knowingly exploit.”
“I am leaving Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc. I cannot in good conscience contribute to platforms who glorify & enrich themselves at the expense of children who they knowingly exploit,” she wrote. “Discovering recently that animals are sexually abused/exploited along [with] children was a shock.”
“I had no idea such a depraved ideology was being pushed on this scale or the insidious ways the worst of humanity is normalized, promoted & quietly glorified by the same platforms who censor free speech from truckers, doctors, naturalists, vaccine injured & so on,” Logan added. “It’s wrong.”

In recent years, Big Tech companies like those highlighted by Logan have taken heat over allegedly platforming explicit content of children and being a hotbed for sex trafficking.
Notably, in May, Twitter tried to dismiss a child pornography lawsuit filed against the company by an underaged victim, citing outlined protections under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act — a controversial clause that has protected Big Tech from viewpoint discrimination and, in this case, they claim, child pornography being hosting on their platforms.
In the court filing, Twitter argued that even if “all” of the minors’ “allegations” are accepted “as true, there is no legal basis for holding Twitter liable for the Perpetrators’ despicable acts.”
In another lawsuit against Twitter, a young boy who was solicited and recruited for sex trafficking, known as John Doe #1, alleges that he had to endure his own sexual abuse material being promoted on Twitter, even after attempts were made to remove the content.
Logan linked to a YouTube video outlining the fall of famed YouTuber Shane Dawson, whose content allegedly included pedophilia jokes and racism, among other controversial subjects. “Watch this for some insight into how many are complicit/profiting,” Logan said.

Logan, the former chief foreign affairs correspondent for CBS News and a correspondent for “60 Minutes,” made news in 2019 when she called out the mainstream media for dropping even the pretense of being objective, likening some journalists to “activists” and “propagandists.”
“The media everywhere is mostly liberal, not just in the U.S. But in this country, 85% of journalists are registered Democrats – that’s just a fact,” Logan told “Mike Drop” podcast host Mike Ritland, a retired Navy SEAL.
