Ben Affleck’s 10-year-old son Samuel Garner somehow found himself behind the wheel of a bright yellow rental Lamborghini at a car dealership and ended up backing the luxury car into a parked BMW.
Yes, you read that correctly. It happened at a Los Angeles car lot Sunday when the 49-year-old actor was out with pop singer fiancée Jennifer Lopez and the kids he shares with ex-wife actress Jennifer Garner. The “Batman” star reportedly let his kid sit in the driver seat where he accidentally ended up putting the $225,000 Lamborghini, that was running at the time, in reverse and hit a white BMW vehicle, the Daily Mail reported in a piece published Sunday.
“Ben [Affleck] was at the dealership to test drive a new car…. Sam seemed very interested in the exotic cars,” a source told People magazine. “Ben let him get into the driver’s seat of a very expensive Lamborghini, [and] the car ended up reversing into another parked car.”
“There seemed to be no damage to the cars though,” the source added. “You could tell that Ben very much regretted letting Sam get into the driver’s seat. He seemed upset about it.”
The actor’s representative told the outlet in a statement, “There was no damage. Everyone is okay.”
Numerous photos of the small fender bender have surfaced on social media and can be seen below. In one photo we see Affleck embracing his son. Another showed Samuel checking out the car he backed into. While another, showed the “Justice League” star going to get his son who appeared to be rushing to get out of the car he just put into reverse.

The Daily Mail noted that the yellow Lamborghini Urus rents at the dealership for for $1,475 per day.
An employee at the lot, who was on scene at the time of the incident, told The New York Post that “when [Samuel] got into the car, it jerked back and forth. We have a small lot and the cars are close.”
“Everybody was OK!” the employee shared. “They seemed happy and continued to browse.
“Affleck loves cars,” the staffer added. “We hope they come in again.”
The “Deep Water” star was previously married to Garner for more than a decade. The two share three kids together. Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 and are now engaged.
