Recently, The Daily Wire reported that the NASCAR driver originally referenced in the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon!” after a media reporter “misheard” a “F*** Joe Biden!” chant at Talladega was having difficulty finding premium sponsors. Brandon Brown’s name had become so associated with politics, not many companies wanted to take “Brandon” on as a representative. On Thursday, Brown and his team announced that he now had a team backing him — the group behind the latest cryptocurrency officially titled the “Let’s Go Brandon” coin.
Brandonbilt Motorsports issued a press release on Thursday announcing that the “cryptocurrency meme coin LGBcoin.io (LGBcoin / $LGB) has signed on as the team’s full-season primary partner for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) season.”
LGBcoin was created this past fall by a group of conservatives after the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon!” took off in popularity as a sanitized way to express dissatisfaction with the mainstream media and the Biden presidency as a whole.
The coin has had some success, and the phrase is more relevant than ever. As a result, “BMS driver Brandon Brown will sport an eye-catching red, white, and blue livery with the logo and wordmark of LGBcoin aboard his No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro for all 33 races of the NXS season.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Brandonbilt Motorsports and Brandon Brown for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season,” James Koutoulas, LGBcoin HODLer and founder of Typhoon Capital Management said in a statement.
“Brandon is not only an incredibly talented driver, but also a thoughtful individual wise beyond his years,” he added. “His commitment and singular focus on his profession is inspiring and his personal story is one that we can all be proud of—an American story of success and perseverance. Brandon is truly America’s Driver.”
“Having the financial support of LGBcoin is incredible, especially at such a pivotal time in our team’s growth as we work to build to the next level of competition,” Brown said in a statement.
“From wondering if we would have the financial means to continue to compete, to my first major win (at Talladega no less), to becoming an unintentional meme, this past season was a rollercoaster,” he continued. “The support of sponsors like LGBcoin empowers us to be as competitive as possible and I’m looking forward to competing hard on the track in 2022.”
As seen in Brown’s announcement video via Twitter, his car will be decked out in LGBCoin.com logos for the 2022 season:
I’m excited to welcome @LGBcoin_io aboard my No. 68 Chevrolet Camaro as our 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series full season primary partner!

The sponsorship is just more evidence that we are living in some extraordinary times. As The Blaze CEO Ty Carditis put it, “The NASCAR driver, whose name inspired a meme, which became a meme coin, which became his lead sponsor. What a time to be alive!”
