“The View” host Sara Haines said Thursday that it was “not a good look” for any president to attack the Supreme Court over a decision that did not go his way — but that’s exactly what President Joe Biden has done.
Haines and her cohosts on the ABC midday talk show have spent much of this week discussing the ongoing reaction to the Court’s 6-3 ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization — which resulted in a 5-4 ruling overturning two landmark abortion cases: Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey — and Haines suggested that attacking the Court was not the way to move forward.
"I don’t want to hear any president of the United States coming down on the Supreme Court," The View host Sara Haines says it wouldn't be "a good look."

Cohost Joy Behar weighed in ahead of Haines, saying that it was wrong for Democrats to attack President Biden for not putting enough pressure on his own party to make sure that Congress codified the provisions in Roe.
“Why do you blame Biden?” Behar asked. “Biden had a promising agenda, and it was derailed by the DINOS, the DINOS in Congress. Manchin and Sinema — Manchinema, let’s call them Manchinema from now on. That’s what happened. So to blame Biden, the guy is trying. He put a black woman on the Supreme Court. That was good.”
“Yep,” others agreed.
“I mean, there are many things that he’s done,” Behar continued.
“We talk about keeping the Department of Justice separate and how important it was for this administration to show people how it’s done because the last administration often skewed the line between what was not their lane,” Haines said then. “I don’t want to hear any President of the United States coming down on the Supreme Court. I think you deal with the decision, and then you move forward with how can we — how can we fix this on different levels? But I don’t think it would be a good look to come down on the Supreme Court justices.”
But President Biden appears to have gone a different route in the wake of last Friday’s decision, claiming at a Thursday press conference that the Supreme Court’s behavior had been “outrageous” and their decision “destabilizing.”
“The one thing that has been destabilizing is the outrageous behavior of the Supreme Court of the United States in overruling not only Roe v. Wade, but essentially challenging the right to privacy.”
